Let9s start from the very beginning and get a peak into the illustrious
history behind the legendary private member9s club that is Home
House. In 1773, Jame Wyatt, George III9s o٠恩cial architect, was commissioned by Elizabeth, Countess of Home, to build a sophisticated
8Pavilion9 designed purely for enjoyment and entertainment at 20
Portman Square and hence the seeds of hedonism were sown from the
very start. In 1775, Wyatt was sacked from the project and his competitor Robert Adam, one of the other most accomplished architects of his
day, was appointed to complete the interior of the house in sumptuous
neo-classical style. The property is now acknowledged as Robert Adam9s
