Wonderful World of Bugs
Let us introduce your child to the
wonderful world of bugs! Kids will get a chance to
safely find, identify and handle some common, and
not so common, bugs. Children will learn how to
observe the amazing bugs that live in the outdoor
environment. How many bugs can we find on the
hunt? Register today to find out! All kids will receive a
small craft to complete and take home.

Mud 101
Geared for our little ones and an
accompanying adult. Who doesn’t like
mud? Oo-y Goo-y good old mud! We will provide
the place and mud, as well as the experiences.
Participants will learn about animals through
tracks and discussions, and plants while making
seed tosses. Learn how mud is made and how we
use this thing called mud. Do our animal friends use
mud? We will be creating in a fun, muddy way. Be
prepared to get “muddy”. Hosing off is an option.
Bring a towel to dry off.

Build a Pollinator Container Garden
Spring means flowers are blooming!
Make a beautiful or thoughtful gift for Mother’s
Day or a friend at this hour long workshop!
We will supply the container, potting mix, and a choice
of native flowering plant species that can be taken
home and shared with someone special. Plants can
be maintained on your patio or re-planted into your
yard and will attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
The fee covers the cost of materials. Come to the free
companion program prior to this workshop. See bees,
butterflies, bats and birds.

Empower your child to be the household’s
environmental leader. Learn what kids can do to impact
our present and future days with Water, Energy, and
Climate. In this program kids become the teachers and
leaders of practicing green environmental routines for
your family. We will give them the tools and “know how” to
become successful “green family” leaders.
