In this instance we’re going to treat ‘Price’ as the overall package offered against
the role. The right ‘price’ drives up the number of interested candidates and
applicants to your company and the role.
If you’re underpaying, you won’t attract the appropriate talent. If you’re overpaying
it could hit the P&L pretty hard - this is business, after all. But you can’t just pluck a
number out of thin air. It must correlate with others in the wider market.
