to
COVID-19
A Message from the Superintendent
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to view our 2021 Quality Profile
Report. As I’m sure you can imagine, our team was very much hoping
this new school year would bring the return to a sense of ‘normalcy’
in our classrooms, after two school years affected by COVID-19 implications. But, we find ourselves working through the challenges of the
COVID-19 pandemic now into a third school year. In this report, along
with the topics we typically showcase, we will also share some information about how the global COVID-19 pandemic has impacted Mentor Public Schools.
online learning for the school year, while in-person students experienced many other modifications. Now, this year, about 130 students
are enrolled in Mentor Schools Online (which was offered for grades K
-6 only), with the vast majority of families wanting their children back
in our brick-and-mortar classrooms. Our educators are working very
hard to minimize the impact of the disruptions caused by COVID-19
on our students through a team approach with extra interventions
and support services used when needed.
