Why is the
so AWESOME!
represents us well and is bragworthy.
We receive many words of
appreciation for the new Jumpline. In response to that, I want to use this space to
say thank you for your kind words! And I’d like to acknowledge all of the people that put in immeasurable
time and effort. Our product is good. And it’s due to a
lot of effort from a lot of folks!
Top Drawer Publishing Company.
What you’re viewing is visually stunning because of the amazing work at
Top Drawer Publishing. They assist
us from start to 昀椀nish. Patricia, their
lead nerd, is a magician with design
and graphics. We could not do this
so beautifully without Top Drawer
and Patricia.
Teamwork. That is the one and only answer to
why this is such a bragworthy paperweight. But I’ll
break that down and list some of the heavy hitters that
help.
Contributors. Look at all the contributions we get! If we
didn’t consistently have so many great contributors, we’d be dead in the water. The absolute lion’s share of appreciation goes to the members
taking their own personal time to inform and inspire others. Without your diverse input we are
not appealing to the masses. The promotion of
feel-good stories is paramount to me. Your stories bolster the power of the Local. You bolster
our sense of solidarity, which means a stronger
union and that means local decision makers listen to our needs. And you never know who you
are inspiring with your message.
Eric Goodman. Photos. Everything goes, including photos! We want photos, and Eric’s devotion to taking photos for the Local and MDFR is a blessing
we all enjoy. And we want to see you too! If you submit an
article, we’ll ask for a pro昀椀le photo of you and a photo of the
matter discussed in your topic. Photographs are what make
this thing grab your attention.
Conductor. My role as the conductor. I dig the Jumpline. It is fun
and ful昀椀lling. I manage and stay on
top of all the pieces and enjoy the
opportunity to put a “posi” spin on
everything when possible.
When McAllister and Fink called me
and asked me to reincarnate the magazine,
my only requirement was that it be funded and
supported to meet 2 criteria: “award winning
quality” and “candid discussions which help
people survive and thrive.” They said yes. And
here we are.
Let’s stay “posi”! We want this awesome magazine to help you if you need help.
And if you don’t need any help, we want it to inform and
inspire you!
