Camran Nojoomi has 34 years of development and redevelopment history in the City of
Suisun. He began the redevelopment of Suisun City in 1989 and for the following 9 years,
he renovated formerly known as the Crescent Neighborhood, recalled the waterfront and
constructed public access, master planned the redevelopment of the Old Town and the
waterfront, revived the waterway, built a perpetual disposal site, and established a
maintenance and funding program to preserve the navigability of the waterways in
Suisun channel.
He introduced mixed use projects to the waterfront, and employed unique urban designs
that intrigued the end users. Camran Nojoomi completed his tenure with the City as a
City Manager, and moved on to the private sector in 1998.
Mr. Nojoomi formed Bay Homes, a non-profit affordable housing corporation, and financed, constructed, and managed Humphrey Place composed of 36 affordable apartment units.
He acquired Almond Gardens for Suisun Redevelopment Agency and remodeled it to its
current configuration and managed the apartments for approximately 6 years.
Prior to joining Suisun City, as the Redevelopment and Economic Development Director,
he managed the Section 8 program for the City of Seaside from 1984-1988.
