Approximately R1.2 billion was made
available for financial assistance at both
undergraduate and postgraduate level in
2018. At undergraduate level 7 650 students
were assisted, while at postgraduate level
4 547 students were assisted. This means
that UCT, in conjunction with its funding
partners, was responsible for facilitating
funding for over 12 000 students in 2018.
