INTRODUCTION
Highlights of 2022 Wayûnders Circle activities include:

The ûrst in-person gathering of the Wayûnders Circle members in Achuar
territory in Ecuador, and multiple Wayûnders Circle online meetings throughout the year.
The addition of two new members of the Wayûnders Circle:
ç The Hin Lad Nai community in Thailand; and
ç The Lhoba peoples of Nepal.
International advocacy engagements as Wayûnders Circle members attended
the UN Conference of Parties of the Convention on Biological Diversity and
the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, highlighting the important
contributions that Indigenous Peoples make to global climate and biodiversity
goals by caring for their territories.
Year-long communications and ûlm-making training including representatives
of about half of the Wayûnders Circle members in partnership with If Not Us
Then Who.
Publication of the Wayûnders Circle governance report in four languages.
Publication of the Wayûnders Circle website.
Publication of a ûve-minute introductory video about the Wayûnders Circle.
Started production of seven documentary ûlms about members of the Wayûnders Circle, to be completed in 2023. These ûlms include:
