This capstone course requires student to identify an issue and then research, design, and test a solution. Students use a variety of industry-standard prototyping
technologies, such as 3D printers and laser cutters, to make their solutions come to
life. Students will present and defend their original solution to an outside panel in
a design review.
Prerequisites: Aerospace Engineering
Certification: Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA)

In this foundational course, students learn the basic principles of medical science,
terminology, and vocabulary needed to work in the healthcare field. This course
focuses on the ethical and legal responsibilities of the health care worker, safety,
medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, body systems and mechanics, standard precautions, and health & fitness. Students will explore career
opportunities in therapeutic, diagnostic, and supportive areas. Students will gain
practical hands-on experience in vital signs, emergency medical care and first aid.
