Dear Sir:
We wish to acknowledge receipt of
your letter 47/3607 of the 23rd January with
reference to the loss of one of three packages addressed to the Agent Generall London,
under cover of Consignment Note 49682.
Extensive enquiries have already
been carried out by the British Overseas Airways Corporation at all stations between London and Sydney in conjunction with this office
which have so far been unsuccessful.
However, we have today further pursued our enquiries as to the whereabouts of
this outstanding package, and as soon as we
have been furnished with replies from all
sources contacted, it will be our pleasure to
advise you accordingly.
Yours faithfully,
JJI2or QANTAS EMPIRE 14RWAYS LTD.
