and Bridges' records
Warrants to discharge prisoners to assist in
harvesting, 1828
The warrants were issued by the Superintendent
of Police, Parramatta, to the Surveyor of Roads
and Bridges in order to discharge prisoners from
the road gangs to assist the settlers named in
the warrant in harvesting, under the terms of the
Government notice of 1 Oct 1828.
