The Hon.R.J.Heffron,M.L.A.
Minister for Education
Dear mr Heffron,
At the request of Ulladulla Parents and
Citizens Association I submit the following statistical aata
from Council's official records, in support of the case
submitted to you by the Association for improvements in local
educational facilities.
Land values:- The Association claims that the value of the
area of 20 acres of land, generously offered uy mr.E.C.Bluett
as a site for a proposed Area School, is £5000. That claim is
supported by the following facts, viz:Within the past two years a number of subdivisions of land
of a comparable valueail within close proximity to mr Bluettt s
land and som:: of them immediately adjacent thereto, have been
approved by Council. The areas so subdivided total more than
30 acres in extent divided into more than 100 allotments•They
have been sold readily, many within recent monthst and the
prices realised exceed an average rate of 'Imre Uan £250 per
acre. Other lands subdivided and sold in the Vlladulla area
during the past year have realised prices equivalent to more
than £500 per acre.
On a subdivisional basis therefore the Association's
estimate of the value of the land offered by Mr Bluett for a
school site, is quite a roazonable and conservative one.

for erection in the various parts of this Municipality,
