On the occasion of his visit to Milton the Minister
was asked by representatives of the Milton Parents and Citizens•
tilssociation to provide favilities for secondary education at
the local school.
Mr. James informed Mr. M. F. Morton, M.L.A., and the
members of the Akssociation, that the main difficulty in providAng Etecondary education in country districts at present liihrw.;
.the shortaE,e of teachers fitted for secondary school work. The
Minister promised, however, that if the staffing difficulty
could be overcome, 7th and 8th classes would be provided at the
Milton school.
