To Mr. McIntosh :I have seen hiri driving about town a lot.
I could
not say if his brother drove on this occasion. I have only
had one car reported. to me as stolen - that was Tatham's. I've
noticed. in the papers that cars are often stolen.

It was a black car he was driving in amething, after
the 'build of a Yon, it was a small car.

I have my weekly reports

During that week I shifted. my camp into Wilson Street. That
camp woula then "be about thirty feet from the gates of the
Eveleltia Shops.
I 'believe the camp was shifted on a Monday
or Tuesday. The day after that I opened up a trench across
Wilson Street, from the building line, on Newtown side across
the road. About 20 or 25 men were working there. During
that week a number of men would, -be employed about the corner
of Wilson and. Codrinzton Streets.
wide and. 3 ft 6 to 4 ft deep.
Wilson Street.
The trench is about 2 ft.
It would partly block
I open one part, then bridge it up, and then
open the other part.
That state of things would, exist on the
13th L4 last so far as I can recollect.
