I had knowledge of him before, but no personal
knowlaage. I knew what colour his hair should be by a
uescr*tion ofhim that we had. A man's hair is not necessarily dyed because it is of different colour to his gyeorows.
I aid not make any record of the conversation we had in writing.
understand that both Robson and Jones made a record of him
the same afternoon.

I have given the exact conversation as it occurred.

mamory has been slightly rerreshed by Robson's statement.
I also saw Jones' statement. A lock of his hair was not
taken on this occasion.

The roots of the hair were then darker than
the tips of the hair.
The hair is almost a natural colour
