ULLADULLA PUBLIC SCHOOL
Additional
Accommodation
On 10th September, 1962, approval was given by the
Minister for the erection of two new brick veneer primary
classrooms, to new standards, together with any necessary
additions to the toilet and ablution blocks, and other associated
ancillaries at the above school.
Although it has not been possible to date to allocate
funds for the project, preliminary planning action has been
undertaken by the Department of Public Works, and only recently
a layout plan of the additions was submitted.
This plan, which appears at tab "A", has been examined
by the Director of Education at Iiiollongong who now recommends
the following variations to the original approval:The two classrooms be constructed in timber in
lieu of brick veneer and erected as an extension
to the existing timber building.
As the existing toilet and ablution blocks are
incapable of extension, a new combined block be
provided as part of the project.

Now that an alternative scheme has been advanced
for the disposal of septic effluent, a septic
sewerace system be provided in conjuncLion with
the new toilet block.
The proposals have been examined by Mr. Staft inspector
Maibbin, who agrees that the amended requirements are warranted.
It is RECOMMENDED therefore that:(I) Approval be given for the erection of the new
classrooms in timber, in lieu of brick veneer and
t2. heir siti g as indicated on the layout plan
. 4
2 Approval be given for the erection of a new
combined toilet/ablution block.
3 Approval, in principle, be given for the installation
of a septic sewerage system and to its inclusion, if
found practicable, in the project being planned.
(4) The Department of Public Works be authorised to
proceed in terms of (1) to (3) above, subject to
the allocation of funds.
