Fundraising Update
The most difficult thing is funding research the Pain Relief Foundation does not receive any
funding from central or local government, the health service or other official body. Instead, the
Foundation depends entirely on donations, gift aid, legacies, appeals and contributions from
supportive members of the public such as you our readers, from generous companies and
from several trusts, for which we are truly grateful.
Richard Jackson Runs the Leeds Marathon
Richard a keen runner ran his third ever marathon in aid of the Pain Relief Foundation.
Richard is not a pain sufferer himself but chose to do this to help support those that do
suffer from chronic pain as he understands the need for research as chronic pain now
affects one in seven of the population and can be debilitating and life changing for many.
Richard has raised £301.....THANK YOU
