Reservations and Deposit
To make a reservation, please contact us using one
of the following methods:

your professional travel agent

3. Mail us at Austin Adventures, P.O. Box 81025,
Billings, MT 59108
A $500 - $750 per person deposit (International
Program deposits may vary) is required to confirm
your reservation. Full payment is required at the
time of booking if your trip departs within 90 days.
We accept most major credit cards and personal
checks (U.S. funds made payable to Austin
Adventures). Please do not send cash.
Balance Due
Payment in full is due 90 days prior to trip
departure. Balances may be paid by check or credit
card. If deposit was paid by credit card we will
automatically charge the balance due to the same
credit card 90 days prior to trip departure. We
reserve the right to cancel your reservation if
full payment is not received by the due date.
All required documents and forms are due 60 days
prior to departure.
Price Guarantee
Prices in this catalog are guaranteed through
December 31, 2019.

Custom Trip Planning Fee
When you make a custom trip request, we will
present you with an initial consultation of options
and ideas, free of charge. Once a preliminary
itinerary has been approved, we’ll request a $500
Custom Trip Development Fee that will be credited
in full and applied to the final balance. Upon
confirmation of all lodging reservations, activities
and staffing, our normal deposit and balance
policies will be in effect.
Room Occupancy, Single Supplements, and
Shared Room Assignments
All trip prices are based on double adult room
occupancy. Each additional person in a room
receives a 10% discount (not combinable with other
discounts). Single rooms are available for an
additional charge. If you are traveling alone and
wish to share a room and you inform us of this at
time of booking (a minimum of 90 days prior to
departure), we will attempt to find a suitable
roommate for you. On most trips, if we are unable to
accommodate your request, you will receive a
private room at no additional charge.
Trip Protection and Cancellation Insurance
Austin Adventures offers a guest protection plan
that covers trip cancellation for medical reasons,
trip delay, medical expenses, accidental death, lost
baggage and medical evacuation. Please speak with
one of our Trip Consultants if you have specific
coverage questions. Since so many guests purchase
this plan, as a convenience, the cost is
automatically added to your invoice. It’s effective
on the day your premium is received in our office.
Should you not be interested in our travel
protection plan, simply deduct its cost from your
final payment.
Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation of a Trip by Austin Adventures
Austin Adventures will make every attempt to operate a trip once confirmed. We
do reserve the right to cancel a trip, at any time, due to insufficient bookings
and/or reasons beyond our control that might create unsafe or undesirable travel
conditions for the participant. In such case, a full and immediate refund will be
issued. However, the financial liability of Austin Adventures shall be limited to the
amount paid for the land tour only and shall not be extended to cover any other
associated travel costs incurred (e.g. nonrefundable air tickets, visa fees,
clothing, equipment, miscellaneous transportation costs, medical expenses, travel
insurance premiums, etc.).
Austin Adventures is operating under commercial use permits with the United
States National Forest (Chugach, Black Hills, and Gallatin) and National Park
Service as well as visited state and federal controlled lands as required by law.
Austin Adventures is an equal opportunity provider/employer.
Unused Services and Changes
No partial refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, activities, events,
tours, or trip arrangements for any reason whatsoever. Land Cost is quoted as a
package and credits are not given for services not used.
Our Satisfaction Guarantee
Exceeding your expectations is our number one priority. In the unlikely event that
you are dissatisfied with something during your trip, immediately notify your
guide(s). If he or she is unable to resolve the issue, call our main office and give
us the details of the problem, and a chance to correct it during your trip. We will
do our best to find a resolution. If we are unable to do so during your trip, we will
work with you upon your return home to arrive at a fair and equitable solution,
including up to a full refund.
Trip itineraries are subject to change without notice due to road, weather, and
other conditions, as deemed necessary by Austin Adventures.
Cancellation 91 days or more before trip
departure – Full trip payment refunded less a
$300 per person administration fee (Fees vary for
International Travel).
Cancellation 90 – 61 days before trip departure –
Full trip payment less 25% of your published trip
price (per person) is refunded.
Cancellation 60 – 31 days before trip departure –
50% of the trip payment is refunded.
Cancellation 30 – 0 days before trip departure –
No refund is given.
