bacon
Everyone should have at least one friend you can count on to be honest. A friend
who will tell you when you have lipstick on your teeth or clue you in when you’re the
last one to figure something out. When it comes to entertaining, our friend Meredith
is always there for us. She’s the one who told us we’ve been making bacon all wrong!
So, if you haven’t already stopped frying your bacon and started baking it, believe
us when we tell you it’s time to change. It’s so much easier, and the bacon even looks
better.

method of crafting
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line the bottom of a sheet pan with foil. (This
will make clean up so much easier.) Place a wire rack on top of the foil-lined sheet pan.
2. Place each slice of bacon on top of the wire rack. You can make as many pieces of bacon
as you want. The only rule you need to follow is to make sure to only have a single layer of
bacon.
3. Place in hot oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the bacon is as crispy as you like
it.
4. Place a few paper towels on a plate. When the bacon is done cooking, place the bacon
slices on top of the paper towels and allow to cool slightly. If desired, transfer the bacon to
a serving platter before serving to your guests.
