“It’s the annual parade that I do on July 29. We proceed down Zaragoza and we end up at Plaza
Guadalajara. Let me give you an invitation,” handing a blue and yellow invite to her.

Dr. Julio’s Annual Every Doggie Gets Adopted Parade.
July 29 in Plaza Guadalajara
Starting at Zaragoza Street, over to Pedro Moreno and up Colon Street –
Finishing
at
Plaza Guadalajara.
Padre Gabriel to initiate the blessing of the animals.
You can adopt any one of the wonderful dogs in this parade!
• Each dog is examined by Dr. Julio. Guaranteed free from health problems for one year
• Included in adoption: shots, dog blanket, 4 chew toys, a month supply of food
• Must demonstrate ability to love a dog
• Agree and Sign adoption contract.
Elena, holding her puppy, under the guidance of her grandmother, looks at Dr. Julio in
admiration.
“Loving a dog is a JOY – a supreme form of love,” he comments.
Alma, unable to say a word, supports Elena, holding her puppy.
Elena goes up to Dr. Julio, “Do you think she will make it? Will she be--?”
“Healthy again? Recover? Run and jump?”
Elena shakily says, “Yes.”
“I don’t know. The next twenty-four hours are critical. She has lost a lot of fluid. And she did
not eat. The dog is severely dehydrated. I will do my best but I can’t promise anything.”
