“I am the bearer of the first word, Luis, but you can call me Luisito,” he said, taking off his gold
top hat, doing a half bow, and moving his right foot forward so Elena could view his gold tuxedo slip on
shoes.
“That is SOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL! Look at this G!!!” Elena - excitedly holding
something that was sent just for her. The shimmering envelope had been sealed in a gold, glittery wax,
with a large G on it.
“You take the left corner, don’t mix it with the right corner, and you lay it flat, with the “G” side
up.” Taking out his Up Gadget, his special opener, he placed it on the G, pressed the gold button and it
heated instantly, gently releasing the “G” seal.
“I have been sent to deliver the first word to you,” gently giving Elena the opportunity to open the
gold envelop.
Elena gingerly took the envelop, studied its design, looked at Alma and opened the flap, pulling
out a hand painted calligraphy word. It said COURAGE.
“But what does this mean?”
“I made my delivery and I must-go,” dashing out the door, leaving Alma, Elena and to
comprehend the golden envelop and the first word.
“Look at this,” said Elena, showing it to her grandma.
Alma smiled then glanced down the stairs but Luisito was gone.
Elena was under the spell of her golden envelop and had barely looked up when there was a
knock at the door.
“Is this Alma’s dress shop?” said Ramona, as she stepped in, wearing a palace blue sun dress and
black sling pumps. Her hair piled in a top - knot bun.
Alma pampered her prayer group with mini-makeovers; new dresses, skirts, pants and tops. Not
only were they able to dress with charm and flair, she gave them a new life, a new purpose. She helped
