MORE PHOENIX APPRENTICES
JOIN THE FAMILY
With the news of plans to open up a training academy for young people to join the industry, Phoenix
continues to bring in more apprentices to the company. We pride our selves in wanting to invest in the
future and know how important it is to keep the construction industry full of brilliant tradesmen.
So far this year we have had a couple of new
apprentices join our #teamPhoenix family and there are
many more in the pipeline.
In February we welcomed new Bricklayer Apprentice
Billy Williams to #teamphoenix, when he made a visit to
Head Office to collect his equipment and try on his brand
new hard hat! He has now started College and was
excited to be joining our team on Site at Throstle Rec.
Billy is pictured here with Group Managing Director Malc
Hancock who was delighted to meet him and welcome
him to the team.
We also welcomed Thomas
Griffiths who is pictured with
Brickwork Construction Director
Jamie Duerden.
Thomas is excited to join
our team on Site at Kirkby
Leisure centre. Phoenix
are happy to have him on
board as he learns the
tricks of the trade!
We introduced our recently new Trainee Scaffolder Joe
Arrow to our BMH Scaffolding team. He has been working
with our team for a couple of months now and will begin his
training as a Scaffolder later this year. Joe is currently
working alongside his brother Tom, they come from a large
family of lads who have all worked for BMH Scaffolding over
the years. BMH Contracts Manager Giles Prickett says that
Joe is a valuable member of the team.
