It is a pleasure to attend Polish lessons with Ms. Marta in our school. It surely helps me improve my language skills,
including reading and writing. To enforce what I learn in these lessons I create short stories. This also helps as it
expands my vocabulary and punctuation. …. Polish lessons have been a great impact on my school life. Thanks to
these I got to meet new people, unite with old friends, but most importantly I got to use my native language without
fear of someone not understanding me.

Man labai patinka šie lietuvi kalbos kursai, nes mes mokom s apie Lietuvos prezidentus, mokom s lietuvišk ab c l . Aš
labai m gstu, kai yra d stoma Lietuvos istorija, ypa man patiko pamoka - ,,Sausio 13 d. vykiai – Laisv s Gyn j diena‘‘.
Taip pat man labai patinka, kad per pamokas kalbame lietuviškai ir mokom s painti, daugiau suinoti apie
lietuviškas tradicijas.
I love these Lithuanian language courses because we are learning about the Presidents of Lithuania, we are learning
Lithuanian alphabet. I love being in the history of Lithuania, especially the lesson I learned on January 13th. Freedom Defenders‘ Day. I also like the fact that during the lessons we speak Lithuanian and learn to know, learn
more about Lithuanian traditions.

Very often when they are coming to my class there is the sigh of relief and they say: Thank God! One normal class
during the week- finally. What I think they mean is- it feels normal and liberating for them that they can speak and
express themselves freely and nobody is punishing them for this. Sometimes they complain about other teachers
that they are getting angry with them because they speak Polish between themselves, even during break times.
