University of Limerick, School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics used some funding to
engage with teachers and schools and also used some to enhance an online component for discussion
groups with language students and an outreach programme in order to maintain and facilitate our
engagement with the Language Strategy and with the community at large.

Action Progress
Languages Connect launched a new module for guidance counsellors to accompany the TY student Work
Experience activity book. This module gives guidance counsellors lessons they can pick and choose from.
The module is divided in mini lessons and covers the following learning outcomes:
