Voluntary Secondary Schools. 55 Community and Comprehensive schools (14%); 117 ETB schools (30%); 30 feepaying Voluntary Secondary schools (7%); and 190 non-fee-paying Voluntary Secondary schools (48%) responded
to the audit. This is representative for Community and Comprehensive schools and for fee-paying Voluntary

over-represented.
Nationally, there are 101 boys’ schools (14% of schools); 132 girls’ schools (19% of schools); and 478 mixed schools
(67% of schools). 58 boys’ schools (15%), 73 girls’ schools (19%), and 261 mixed schools (66%) responded to the
audit which would indicate that the survey is an accurate representation in terms of school classification by gender.
