POLISH:
The comments focus on the Polish students in their schools and how the schools would like to assist them with
taking Polish exams.
• Sizable cohort of Polish students who sit the exams and receive tuition locally to prepare for LC. We would like
to accommodate these students.
• To provide options for students who come from countries where these languages are spoken.
• WE have a lot of Polish students
• High student numbers from Poland
• To increase enrolment in the college and also serve the needs of existing students.
• Meet needs of students
• We will be offering a short course in Polish next year.
• The school community has a significant number of Polish families, with interest in taking the Polish language as
a Leaving Certificate subject.
• Polish is a subject that is now spoken by a lot of people in Ireland. It would be part of a inclusivity policy
• Would like to expose students to many languages. Would like to enable students from other countries to study
their own native language
