Example of task breakdown for groups with different language levels:
1. Green group - beginners with no Polish:
a) Listen to the song and write down on the leaves the name of the season mentioned in the song.
b) Board game “Colours” + saying and writing down drawn colours on the leaves
2. Blue group – Polish students with good speaking skills, but with difficulties with reading and writing in Polish:
a) Listen to the song and put the Autumn fruit and veg in the order they appear in the song.
b) Match the words to the pictures: adjective (colour) + noun (Autumn fruit and veg).
3. Red group – Polish students with good speaking and reading skills, but some difficulties with writing:
a) Listen to the song and choose from the pictures the items associated with Autumn mentioned in the song.
b) Match the words with the pictures (adjective/colour + noun/Autumnal item from the song’s chorus).
