Spotlight on Schools, Differentiation and Inclusion in the MFL Classroom
In the final part of
the lesson, each group
presents the results of their
work and attaches it to
a common poster
(portrait of ‘Autumn Lady’)

How was the project successful?
Despite the variety in students’ language
abilities, at the beginning and end of the
lesson they worked as one team, whereas
the mid-class phase was completely
individualised and targeted according to
the students’ needs. Differentiation was
made for further inclusion purposes.
Organising lessons around a common and
effective end goal was important in
strengthening the sense of belonging.
Students were engaged and happy
during the whole session and the
outcomes hoped for were achieved.
