Air Ambulance Grants 2019
We are delighted to inform you that Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust
Air Ambulance has been awarded a grant of £4,000 from the Masonic Charitable
Foundation (MCF). This is part of an overall grant of £192,000 which has been
approved by the Charity Grants Committee of the MCF for Air Ambulances and
equivalent rescue services across England and Wales.
We are delighted to advise you that the Hospices in your Province receiving
a grant are:

They have also granted to the following Charities:The Mary Dolly Foundation
£10,000 over 2 years
The Mary Dolly Foundation provides therapeutic interventions for children in
emotional distress in Kent and London. The charity provides one to one
counselling sessions, group sessions and works with NSPCC and Step Forward to
help children who are most vulnerable.

Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) - in the Provinces of East and West Kent
£135,000 over 3 years
RBLI supports injured veterans and people with disabilities, with specific expertise
in employment and independence. They are entirely separate from The Royal
British Legion. The RBLI Village in Kent has grown over 99 years to a thriving intergenerational community, supporting over 300 vulnerable people. Accommodation
includes emergency housing, adapted apartments, nursing care and assisted living.
They provide meaningful activities and social opportunities to ensure residents aged
23 to 103 mix together. People with very different obstacles live as neighbours.

The Young Lives Foundation (YLF) – In the Provinces of East and West Kent
£89,982 over 3 years
YLF supports children and young people who are disadvantaged and vulnerable by
offering vital and life changing support to children and young people, their
families and other professionals working with them. They provide support via their
Positive Activities Programme, Mentoring, Befriending and Advocacy Services.
