CONNECT ONSITE
COMMUNITY GROUPS
Connect Onsite ran in February
and March in 2023. Connect
Onsite is a key way through which
people new to Riverview, new to
faith, or new to exploring group
life can experience what it’s like
to be a part of a Connect Group.
Community Groups bring people
together around a shared stage
of life, culture, passion, or hobby.
Each gathering starts with a meal
followed by teaching content
and discussion in small groups.
Connect Groups often plan social
events through the year so Week
5 of Connect Onsite does the
same. In 2023, connect Onsite
finished with dinner and a quiz
night.

At Riverview we value friendship,
and these groups are another way
that we can become known in
community.
Several new groups launched in
2023.
• A Men’s Community
commenced with a “Guys &
Pies Night.”
• “Kenyan & Friends” group was
formed with the desire to eat,
pray and study God’s word.
• “Parents of Pre-Schoolers”
provides an opportunity for
parents and their kids to hang
out for casual playdates at
parks and playgrounds.
• The “Caravanning & Camping
Group” wants to connect
Riverview people interested in
enjoying God’s good creation
through opportunities to get
away for a few days or more
for fellowship, walks and
cycling.
