NANDI NDLOVU
I have been on the Rumble team for eight months.
I’m on a fortnightly Sunday team. My team have
made me feel so welcomed and appreciated
as we all encourage each other and learn from
one another. The Rumble team were so great in
helping me learn the role. I have developed in
confidence and in team building skills.
I am very outgoing, patient, and creative. As a
volunteer in Rumble, my outgoing nature really
helps me to engage with the kids. My patience
allows me to guide the kids on their faith journey
whilst also allowing them to enjoy themselves
through different fun and interactive activities.
This year I feel that I have grown in my faith.
I love being surrounded in a God loving
environment. I love seeing the enthusiasm and
passion the kids show. I see God’s goodness and
love in them. This has truly inspired me to seek
love and guidance from God even further.
BEA + EVA BANTILES
We’ve always loved interacting with kids and we
really enjoy the connections that we get to build
with them. We love being able to interact with all
their different, amazing and funny personalities.
To do this while talking to them about God is
something that we enjoy a lot and something we
find great importance in as well.
As a part of the Rumble team we both get to
teach the kids stories about the love of God, sing
praise and worship songs with them and create
an environment where they can have fun, be
comfortable and be themselves.
Serving with a team on a regular basis has helped
us get to know more people of Riverview. It’s
given us the opportunity to meet new people and
form new friendships. Serving has not only helped
us define our role within the community, but it has
also provided a sense of purpose and fulfilment,
allowing us to actively contribute to the church.
