The PlasticBlitz
27th May - 11th June 2023
The PlasticBlitz is about clearing plastics and other
rubbish from our waterways, with the eventual aim of
stopping plastic from finding its way into the sea or our
drinking water. It does not matter how small the water
source is.
Thames21 have money available to fund the purchase of
litter picking equipment. They also have training
available. If you are working with an outside
organisation, as long as there is a Rotarian present, the
project will be covered by Rotary insurance. If the
organisation is working inipendently, as long as some
members have attended a Thames21 training session
they will be covered by Thames21 public liability
