Rory with Labour Party Leader Keir Starmer MP.
Rory will provide serious leadership locally and at a national level.
I understand the important boundaries between the
role of the Police & Crime Commissioner and the role
of operational policing and its leaders. I will always

and e昀昀ective partnerships across blue light services
- operationally and in governance - but in my view,
the police and 昀椀re service need their own distinct

We should always be prepared to look at whether
our democratic structures, locally and nationally,
are e昀昀ective and engaging. I believe the role of
Police & Crime Commissioner can be reformed and
if elected, I will push for a national debate on the
future of the role.
