Since 2013, Tate has partnered
with a financial services client to
find and place all their permanent
and fixed term Office Support,
Administration and Customer
Service Staff across five locations.
The Challenge
In 2019 a significant acquisition for our
client meant an additional 600+ permanent
employees were required over a 12-month
period, in addition to the 120 candidates we
already supply for them annually.
It was recognised that the client brand was not
prominent enough in the marketplace to attract
a high volume of candidates therefore Tate
supported the promotion of the client’s strong
brand values across a multi-channel marketing
campaign. They also wanted to run a more
inclusive recruitment process.
Targeted new talent pools through
the inclusion of flexible working
considerations in adverts, gender
neutral wording and supporting initiatives
such as ‘Women in Finance’, as well as
targeting part-time workers.
Providing applicants with greater
understanding of the business through
introduction videos during the assessment
process to increase the chance of offers
being accepted.
The Results
3,000+ applications.
91% increase in applicants.
1,500 applicants screened by Tate
via 60 assessment centres.
100% fulfilment of vacancies.
65% of our fixed-term workforce are now
permanent employees with this client.
84% of candidates are still in post
12 months later.
How we delivered
a successful campaign
Targeted key local events to help
showcase the brand and build excitement
about the employer.
Developed campaigns with the values front
and centre to drive applicants to the website
including social media, job boards, leaflet
drops, local print advertising, posters at train
stations, client/staff referral scheme and
recruiter network promotion.
Tate has formed a relationship
with this client built on trust and together
we have transformed how we recruit.
