Festivities
Saba Day: 1st weekend in December.
Sea and Learn: Sea & Learn on Saba is a non-profit foundation that sponsors
a month-long event founded by the island government and regional businesses.
Throughout the entire month of October a variety of naturalists, scientists and
academics in fields ranging from marine biology to meteorology to geology
provide casual but informative multi-media presentations. In addition to nightly
presentations, you are invited to join field/research projects or assist in nature
surveys conducted throughout the event. These same experts also work with Saba’s
school children to ensure the next generation continues to have appreciation for
the nature of Saba. All events are open to the public and free of charge.
Saba Lobster Fest: Saba Lobster Fest is a three-day culinary event held on the
island of Saba. Saba Lobster Fest offers fabulous lunch and dinner specials
featuring our Saba Bank spiny lobster. Lobster-inspired specials will be offered by
participating restaurants around our tiny island. The Saba Lobster Festival is for
everyone who loves food, loves lobster, and loves the Caribbean.
Saba Restaurant Week: Restaurant Week Saba is a recurring culinary event with
the intention of spotlighting the restaurants of Saba and encouraging all inhabitants
and tourists of Saba to dine out and enjoy the good food Saba has to offer. During
the week, food lovers can enjoy great lunching & dining experience for a fixed
attractive price at all participating restaurants, from the simplest eateries to the
most exquisite ones on Saba.
Saba Summer Festival: Better known as Carnival, is scheduled during July.
