GREETINGS
FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
Our students and schools continue to thrive in
Menomonee Falls despite the challenges we all face in
our community. This is a product of astute planning with
our school board, skilled service from our employees,
and a strong partnership with our families and
community.
The strength of our schools and community is recognized
as we are consistently listed among the top districts and
schools by US News and World Report and Menomonee
Falls was recently identified as one of the top cities to live
by Money Magazine. We have a lot to be proud of in the
Falls.
While the pandemic has been disruptive, our students
continue to thrive in relevant programs aligned with
opportunities in the current job market. Students are
earning credits that can transfer to technical colleges or
universities after high school in impressive numbers. We
are among the leaders in Waukesha County for WCTC
credits and have regularly been recognized by the
College Board for our Advanced Placement program.
Students are proving through all of these opportunities
that they are ready for their next step whether it is the
armed services, college, trade school, or any other
aspiration.
We have been identified as a Top Workplace by the
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel by our employees for six
years in a row. This assures that we remain a destination
district among those working in education across the
region and beyond.
We remain a national model in continuous improvement
as we leverage best practices in service, improvement,
and quality management to achieve our mission while
operating within our budget. The results have been high
achievement, efficiency, and a high return on the
community investment as we continue to sustain our
quality without increasing the burden on taxpayers.
We are stronger when we are together and we partner
with local agencies to meet our challenges head-on. In
partnership with our exceptional police department, we
work to assure school safety with school liaison officers
is available at each level. Our police partnership
contributes to our safety prevention and crisis
planning.
This year we have worked closely with the Waukesha
County Executive Office, health department, and
Waukesha County school districts to continue face-to
face instruction for students through the pandemic. We
are proud of our hybrid model as it offers consistent
instruction to students while protecting the health of
our students, community, and employees. In this
model we maximize our investment in technology by
alternating our students between face-to-face
instruction and virtual instruction that allows students
to participate with their teachers and classmates from
home.
In our 4K-2nd grade buildings, all students are able to
attend face-to-face instruction each day. We are also
meeting the needs of over 20% of our families who
selected a fully-virtual option during the pandemic.
We have a lot to be proud of in our school district and
in Menomonee Falls. I am hopeful you feel the same
sense of pride in our district as I feel in the opportunity
to serve. As always, my door is open if you ever have
questions, concerns, or ideas to improve. Please reach
out to me via phone or email at

Sincerely,
Corey Golla
