Kobe Boyce is Shelton’s Assistant Football
and Baseball Coach
Spectrum News did a story
on Shelton alumnus and
Shelton assistant football and
assistant baseball coach Kobe
Boyce. Kobe, who attended
Shelton from sixth-tenth
grade and graduated from Lake Dallas
High School in 2017, signed to play football
at the University of Texas. In high school
he was ranked by Rivals as the No. 45
cornerback nationally. At UT, he played in
six games as a freshman and all 13 games
as a sophomore. When he wasn’t playing
football, he was busy working on his
major in Youth and Community Studies
and was a two-time member of the Big 12
Commissioner’s Honor Roll. As a Shelton
coach, Kobe has been a huge influence
and inspiration to our athletes. “For them
to listen to you, for them to run through
a brick wall, you have to show that you
actually care,” Kobe says.
Madison Carrier (Shelton Class of 2011)
is a Financial Advisor who Mentors
Young Adults
Madison Carrier earned a
degree in Public Relations
from the University of North
Texas. She currently lives
in the Dallas area, where
she works as a Financial
Advisor for Northwestern Mutual. One
of her greatest achievements has been
becoming a member of the Million Dollar
Round Table, a premier group for financial
advisors who are top producers in their
industry. In just three years of being in the
industry, she was named one of the Top 5
women in the southern region and Top 10
women nationwide.
Liam Samuel Benzvi is a Talent Acquisition
Specialist for Perimeter Global Logistics
Liam Samuel Benzvi attended
Shelton from sixth-eighth
grade from 2007-2009
and then graduated from
Centennial High School
in Frisco, Texas. In 2019,
he earned a degree in Hospitality
Management from the University of
North Texas. He currently lives in Euless
and works for Perimeter Global Logistics
(PGL) as a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Liam is also a motivational pop musician/
songwriter who focuses on writing positive
music to bring people together and help
them cope with adversity.
Adam Webb (Shelton Class of 2000) is
a Real Estate Agent for Briggs Freeman
Sotheby’s International Realty
Adam Webb attended
Schreiner University, where
he played tennis and was
undefeated his junior and
senior years. He graduated
with a degree in Business
Management and currently works in the
Dallas area as a Real Estate Agent for
Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International
Realty. Adam was also the Upper School
coach with Bill Iau for the Shelton Tennis
team from 2004-2010, winning many
State Championships. He married his best
friend in 2019 and they have a 2-year-old
daughter named Birdie.
Britta Ward Works as a Sales
Administrative Assistant at
The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel
Britta Ward attended Shelton
from fourth through eighth
grade, graduated from
Richland Collegiate High
School in 2014 and then
earned her Hospitality degree
at the age of 20 from the University of
Houston. She currently lives in Orange,
Calif., where she works as a Sales
Administrative Assistant at The RitzCarlton, Laguna Niguel.
Kevin Wainscott is a Teacher
and Wrestling Coach at
Lake Highlands High School
Kevin Wainscott attended
Shelton from second through
eighth grade and then went
to Bishop Lynch High School,
where he was a four-time
State Champion Wrestler.
After graduating in 2005, he received a
degree in Education from Oklahoma State
University, where he continued his career
in wrestling and was a part of the National
Championship team in 2005. He is now a
high school teacher and wrestling coach at
Lake Highlands High School.
Simone Shrell Noble (Shelton Class of
2011) is a Speech Language Pathologist
Simone Shrell Noble
graduated from Indiana
University with a Bachelor’s
degree in Speech and Hearing
Sciences. After graduation,
she received a Master’s
degree in Communication Disorders from
the University of Texas at Dallas Callier
SHELTON SCHOOL
Center in 2017. Simone currently lives
in Richardson and works in Frisco ISD
schools as a Speech Language Pathologist
for LifePath Systems specializing in Early
Childhood Intervention.
Brian Sweet (Shelton Class of 2011)
is a Sports Writer
Brian Sweet graduated from
Abilene Christian University
with a degree in Journalism.
He currently lives in McKinney
and is a sports writer for The
Southlake Independent School
District at Carroll High School and is the
Site Expert for the Dallas Stars FanSided
social media page called Blackout Dallas.
He also covers the Texas Legends for The
Smoking Cuban, the Dallas Mavericks
FanSided page, and is a contributor for the
Texas Rangers FanSided page.
Penn Eichorn (Shelton Class of 2017) is
Working on his Master’s of Divinity at
Abilene Christian University
Penn Eichorn graduated from
Abilene Christian University
with a focus in Biblical
Literature, English Literature
and Communication Studies.
He is currently working on his
Master’s of Divinity in World Religions and
Christian Leadership at ACU.
Jamie Goldstrich-Thomas Advocates
for the Disabled
Jamie Goldstrich-Thomas
attended Shelton from 19891994. She graduated from
Bishop Lynch High School
in 1998, then attended
Brookhaven, Cisco and Hardin
Simmons University, where she earned
her degree in Early Childhood Education.
Jamie lives in Abilene and is the Regional
Coordinator for Partners Resource
Network PEN Project. Last January,
Jamie was appointed by the governor
as a council member on the nominating
committee for the Texas Council of
Developmental Disabilities. She is also
the vice chair for her local mental health
authority, Betty Hardwick, and president of
Abilene Spectrum Connection, a nonprofit
that serves local families who care for an
individual with autism.
