Sigma Kappa Sorority
WHO WE ARE
Sigma Kappa was founded in 1874 at Colby College
in Waterville, Maine. Our Founders were the first five
women to attend Colby College, one of whom was the
first woman to attend college in all of New England.
Since then, Sigma Kappa has enriched the lives of more
than 175,000 women worldwide, creating a supportive
environment for our members to enhance their character,
form lifelong friendships and achieve excellence.
