Sigma Kappa requires its chapters and members
to meet the following minimum scholastic
standards:
• Average chapter GPA of 3.0 or above allwomen’s average on that campus
• Individual member minimum of 2.5 GPA
Collegiate members support Sigma Kappa
through their chapter dues, set by each individual
chapter, and national fees.
Time Commitment
In addition to chapter dues and fees, each
collegiate member of Sigma Kappa is responsible
for paying housing-related fees that are set by the
local house corporation or facilities committee.
New members are asked to attend weekly new
member meetings, as well as bi-weekly chapter
meetings, averaging about 3-5 hours per week.
Once initiated, members can expect to meet
weekly as a chapter and throughout each month
to participate in sisterhood events, philanthropy
events, and complete study hours as needed.
College graduates who are members of a
fraternal organization become adept at time
management and report being more engaged in
their workplace after college.
