Foundation Impact Statement - Report - Page 13
We celebrate visionary donors Marylou Sayler Turner, Xi, and her late husband,
John, as well as Judith (Judi) Anderson Herbert, Alpha Delta, and her
husband, Jim. Because of their commitments, the Sorority was able to offer
two new opportunities for Convention attendees - a keynote speaker series and
a targeted educational session for national volunteers, in addition to enhanced
educational programs for all attendees.

The Marylou and John D.
Turner Lecture Series funded
its first keynote speaker at last
summer’s Convention. With their
gift, Marylou hopes to inspire
future Sigma Kappa generations
through leadership growth.

Careerhouse for Volunteers
session was funded by the Judi
and Jim Herbert Volunteer
Endowment. It is Judi’s hope that
this endowment will give Sigma
Kappa the resources to expand
the number and depth of our
volunteer ranks.
Funding for additional convention programming came from the
Leadership Education Endowment.
