Week 2: Identify Your Feelings
Oh, those feelings! Have you ever been asked how you feel about something
and answered by saying ‘I think..’? Our thoughts and feelings are so different
and are linked as follows. Our thoughts determine our feelings which ultimately
determine our actions. When you know your purpose, notice the feelings you
have in your body – are they warm, soft, gentle, around your heart or your
head?
Or are they cold, sharp or around your abdomen? When you feel warm
and soft, you tend to smile and take immediate action to follow through on
your thought. When it is cold and sharp, the tendency is to wince and dismiss
them and not follow through.
