To turn oû the vehicle, turn the FNR to Neutral(N) and engage the parking brake
by ûipping the parking brake switch towards the windshield. The parking brake
switch will illuminate with a RED light and an exclama on point will display on
your touch screen. Turn the key towards the windshield and the vehicle will turn
oû. Remove the key.
Regenerative braking is used to control the downhill speed of the vehicle but
should not be used solely to maintain the vehicle speed on grades greater than
10%. The operator must also use the brake pedal.
6.3 While opera ng the vehicle:
- Ensure ba:ery charger is opera onal.
- Pay a:en on to your vehicle. Examine the steering and braking systems. Ensure
the vehicle travels straight and brakes smoothly and doesn9t pull to one side. Pay
a:en on to unusual noises or odors.
- Do not travel on surfaces not meant for motorized vehicles.
- Do not travel over large bumps or obstacles not meant for motorized vehicles.
- Do not travel on surfaces that exceed a 20% grade.
- Watch for objects or obstruc ons in the vehicle9s path.
- Do not travel through water that exceeds 3= in depth.
- Do not turn on uphill or downhill slopes that exceed a 10% grade. Do not park
on steep hills.
- Use common sense!
7. Maintenance
7.1 Vehicle Maintenance
- Maintenance needs to be done on a regular basis to ensure the vehicle is
opera ng at maximum eûciency.
- DAILY - Inspect the en re vehicle and items in Sec on 6.1. Keep the ba:ery
charged and ensure the vehicle is clean and in good condi on.
- WEEKLY - Check re air pressure.
- 40 HOURS 3 Have a trained technician check front end alignment, lubricate the
front suspension, examine the electrical system and overall vehicle performance.
- 80 HOURS 3 Have a trained technician change the transaxle ûuid.
- All maintenance should be performed by a trained technician. ALer
maintenance is performed, trained personnel should test drive the vehicle to
ensure proper opera on in a safe area free from other vehicles and obstacles.
- DO NOT modify the vehicle in any way that alters the height, speed, electrical
system, max occupancy, or stability of the vehicle. Doing so VOIDS the
manufacturer9s warranty.
