Survey respondents with the highest average perceived vulnerability to climate change were those targeting
demersal fish species, specifically species in the New England Fisheries Management Council’s (NEFMC)
small-mesh multispecies complex, NEFMC multispecies groundfish complex, and the benthic species jointly
managed with the Mid-Atlantic Fisheries Management Council (MAFMC), the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries
Commission (ASMFC), and NEFMC (Figure 9).
