You are now an influencer with a huge
following. Can you please tell us what
challenges you faced throughout your
journey, if any?
The biggest challenge I continuously
face is keeping up with the pace of
social media. I don’t spend a lot of
time scrolling on social media, so I
guess I am somewhat at a disadvantage. However, it also means I’m not
influenced by what everybody else is
doing. My content tends to really
lean into exactly who I am off
camera.
On a positive note, one of the
most exciting impacts of my social
media experience is that I have become a ‘family share’. I recently had
a millennial on Tiktok message me
that her mom was going through a
rough time with an unexpected career pivot. The daughter introduced
my Youtube channel to her mom and
they began watching my videos together. She told me her mom started
wearing a brighter lipstick, adding
some color to her wardrobe and now
has a little more of a spring in her
step. There’s nothing better than that.
