What strategies did you use to move
forward through these challenges?
Thankfully, I think my age as a 56
year old woman on social media allows me not to feel the pressure of
“keeping up with the Jones’s” so to
speak. I can’t imagine what it’s like
to be a young influencer. It must be
all consuming. Still, my calendar is
highly color coded and I have developed a mean organizational game as
of late.
You’ve been called TikTok’s “Real-Life
Carrie Bradshaw” by VOGUE. What
were your thoughts when you first
heard that?
I have been dressing with an eclectic
edge for as long as I can remember.
It’s the juxtaposition of pairing items
that shouldn’t work together that really excites me. The minute I saw
Carrie Bradshaw in her shrunken
vintage T shirt and a tulle maxi skirt
I felt shockingly validated. As a person working in, and obsessed with,
the fashion industry for 30 years, it
was a huge honor to be called out by
Vogue.
