I have built my entire platform on this
topic and I think I know what your answer will be but I have to ask. What
are your thoughts about the “old”
rules for dressing for your age?
Dressing for your age …Pish Posh
I say! I think dressing for your age
means sitting well in your skin and
wearing what makes your heart sing.
What would you say to women in
their 50’s and beyond who want to
get started on something new?
I say go for it. 50 is the new 40, and
we will hopefully have many decades to live and celebrate life, especially with what’s ahead of us in
terms of advances in medicine. Who
knows? Maybe your second act will
last longer than your first. It will be
so exhilarating if it’s something you
have a passion for.
We always hear about “follow our
gut”. Have you found this to be a true
statement?
Absolutely. Generally speaking,
when I follow my gut, the outcome
is positive, and I feel good about my
decision. It does often mean acting
spontaneously or taking a risk from
time to time, but there’s always that
adrenaline rush and a giddy feeling
that you are trusting yourself. I think
the universe rewards that approach.
