the appropriate way there is a signicant
opportunity for both the investment management and funds sectors in Ireland.

Personally I think the main challenge will be
skills shortage. Universities need to rethink
the type of nance courses they are offering
to meet the changes taking place in the
market. I would like to see them starting to
introduce programmes combining nance
and environmental themes at graduate and
post graduate levels.
Looking at our own sector investment management is a ‘people business’. I can see that
we are competing with technology rms to
attract the best talent and we need to adapt
remuneration packages and employment
