CITY PARKS.
2 Firearms are not allowed in any University City
parks or facilities.
3 All parks open at 7:00 am and close at 10:30 pm
nightly or earlier as posted in individual parks.
Please adhere to these times.
4 Pavilions and athletic fields are available for reser
vation. Any group using a pavilion or athletic
field without a permit must vacate if
a permitted group arrives.
Parks
5 FOR PICNIC RESERVATIONS
There are no refunds (including cases of inclement weather). Any alterations will void the issued
park permit.

Fires are only allowed in barbecue pits.
11 The erection of any structures (tents, booths,
posts, etc.) is prohibited.
12 Bounce houses or other inflatable structures are
not allowed.

Petting zoos and pony rides are not allowed.

F OR PICNIC RESERVATIONS
All electrical outlets are 15 amp circuits and are
not suitable for heavy wattage equipment.
15 Driving golf balls in University City parks is pro
hibited except at Ruth Park Golf Course.
16 Automobiles are permitted in parking lot areas
only. No parking on grassy areas
University City Police Department will ticket
violators.
7 All trash, rubbish and recycled materials must be
placed in proper containers. Trash receptacles are
for park refuse only.
17 The sale of any product or service and the solicitation of funds are not permitted in
University City parks.
8 FOR PICNIC RESERVATIONS
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited unless
Alcohol Request Fee has been purchased.
18 City and State laws apply in all University City
parks. Improper conduct will not be tolerated.
Any person guilty of malicious destruction of
park property will be prosecuted.
9 Dogs are not permitted to run loose and must
be kept on a leash while in parks (exception: Dog
Park at Vernon and Pennsylvania).

10 The City of University City enforces a “pooper
scooper” law and provisions must be made to
remove your pet’s waste.
