bring back tomorrow? This is difficult, as there are
so many, but the old shops and Chapel that were pulled
down in Brand Street to build what was Sainsburys then
You’re taking family, friends or business

you go? Our last big family occasion was marked with
a superb meal at Bridge Street Bistro, the one before
that at Deroka in Sun Street, and a memorable meal at
Bosphorus, the Turkish restaurant.
“It’s an exciting time to be involved in video
production”, said Tony “The videos we produce
are so varied, one day we’re filming for the
NHS, the next we’re being driven around a
rally track filming for BMW.” “But we really
enjoy covering local events, including the
various community events staged in the Market
Place when filming is always a pleasure”.

award winning social media management and
website design which links nicely with video
production. “ Lot’s of businesses use social
media, but if they don’t get instant results or
they run out of time they give up” said Mark.
“But that’s where we come in and design a
Social Media Plan to manage their pages and
get a great return on investment” continued

Financial Advisors, book shops to large
Insurance companies, all are welcome”.
What’s your connection to Hitchin? Mark was born
and bred in Hitchin as were much of his family. His
Great Grandfathers name is on the War Memorial at St
Marys. Tony lived in Letchworth for many years, and
moved to Hitchin to be close to the HitchinTV business
Who or what inspired you to start your business?
Tony started making videos whilst still at school,
scripting and filming using school friends as actors. His
interest grew and Mark and he saw there was a space in
the creative market for reasonably priced promotional
videos for local businesses.
You’re asked to recommend overnight
accommodation to someone who needs to stay
the night – where do you point them? There’s a
good range of accommodation. If you’re looking for
something historic there is The Sun or The Priory, or a
more modern approach is the Premier Inn.
If you had to recommend a feature of a nearby
town, what would it be? We love the Broadway

postcard of Hitchin? St Mary’s always looks stunning, Deco building that has been sympathetically restored
and we recently took a photo from the Church Tower
and improved. Now with the addition of a theatre it’s

fields beyond. It showed that Hitchin was still a country
