As a library with a push to develop
a universal cultural offer you could
make a lasting impact on the cultural
experiences and diversity of interests for
your local young people.
In order to understand and develop
meaningful engagement with young
people it’s great to co-design activity
with them. Working with artists who will
respond to their interests, learning and
ideas will ensure greater ownership over
the activity and art work being created
as well as a sense of belonging in their
local library. Longer term this could
help you develop youth volunteering
opportunities.
